In year 4, we have been learning about Romans during this term. We found out that Britain only had muddy track before Romans built new roads all over the landscape.
We used various materials and build a part of the road as Romans did their roads on foundations of clay, chalk and gravel.
The first photo is an example of how muddy tracks Celts used to travel on and the rest of the photos of roads created by children in their groups.
In Science, we have started an experiment to create water cycles! The children showed their knowledge of key vocabulary and understanding of how the water cycle works by drawing a diagram on a zip lock bag. These were then hung up in the sunlight, and we will watch and wait for out water cycles to work!
